Autosport Gearbox - Maincase Casting

This image shows prototype pattern equipment that has been CNC machined directly into a medium density polyurethane tooling board (Ureol). Midas designed all pattern methods within our CAD dept. before CNC machining all the pattern detail.

The machined pieces were then finished off by our traditional patternmakers who also fitted all necessary foundry methods and running/gating systems. The very high standard of surface finish ensure the best quality mould and therefore the best quality casting surface.

Typical lead-times for this type of work are 3 - 4 weeks.
